Waltonchain has announced that the mass production of the mid-end infrared receiver chip (XMS8088) has started. The infrared receiver chip was developed by the company’s technical partner Silictec. Additionally, two other chips, the low-end infrared receiver chip (XMS8090) and high-end anti Wi-Fi interference infrared receiver chip (XMS8098), respectively, have entered the final preparation stage before mass production, which will start later this year.
Waltonchain, a global leader in blockchain and IOT, aims to satisfy the industry needs and serve the global economy with the blockchain technology. Waltonchain combines the blockchain technology with RFID chips to ensure optimum realization of the Value Internet of Things.
During the final stage of the design process, the Silictec’s R&D team was able to tape-out the mid-end infrared receiver chip (XMS8088) at the first attempt. It should be noted that the R&D team has registered the IC layout earlier on. The chip is primarily used in infrared remote control products with a wide range of applications, from televisions, air-conditioners, and consumer appliances to remote control toys. The chip can be practically used in any industry.
Waltonchain has pointed out that the beginning of mass production of the mid-end infrared receiver chip underlines the technical strength of Silictec. Waltonchain believes that the chip has become the benchmark of the industry.
