Tron (TRX) has made one more step forward in its attempt to gain adoption. The TRX cryptocurrency is now available in over 20,000 stores in Italy and Spain. This information was revealed by Justin Sun, the Founder and CEO of Tron Foundation.
The facility is brought by Bitnovo, a cryptocurrency platform. Shoppers will be able to purchase vouchers from the shops and redeem it instantaneously.
Bitnovo also facilitates cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Dash, Bitcoin Cash, Cardano, Litecoin and Ethereum. The shopping chains that have started selling TRX vouchers in Spain and Italy include Carrefour, FNAC and Game.
Bitnova has also stated that they give huge importance to security and a dedicated cryptocurrency security team has been formed to take care of this matter.

Despite being bearish technically, Tron (TRX) continues to forge numerous meaningful partnerships. Additionally, the blockchain firm, which intends to free the internet from the grips of multinational corporations, launched the Tron Virtual Machine (TVM). Notably, Tron is trying to lure DApps deployed in the Ethereum network to migrate to its mainnet by listing the advantages. It should be remembered that TVM is fully compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine. The migration can be done for virtually free.
Sun also announced the secret project ‘Atlas’, which aims to bring in 100 million users of BitTorrent into Tron ecosystem. Satoshi Nakamoto, the inventor of Bitcoin, has mentioned about BitTorrent in one of his emails.
The Foundation also launched Tron Wallet on Google Play Store. iOS version is also expected to be released soon. The wallet was developed by the Foundation in partnership with Getty/IO, a software company.
In addition to the redeemable cards, gift cards for iTunes, restaurants and other retail outlets can be purchased as well. By simply entering the pin number and TRX address, the crypto voucher can be redeemed instantly.
Commenting on the launch, Bitnovo said
“The gift card format is ideal to give as a gift and to initiate your relatives or friends into the exciting world of cryptocurrency.”
Ethereum creator Vitalik Buterin recently said the cryptocurrency sector needs to pervade further in the real world. Ironically, Tron, which wants to overtake Ethereum and become the most opted network for DApp deployment, has succeeded in spreading its network in Europe.
