To those who are unaware of what happened yesterday, hackers were able to gain access over several prominent Twitter account, including those of Gemini, Coinbase, and Tron Foundation, and other businesses, in addition to personal accounts of Charlie Lee, Justin Sun and several crypto influencers.
The hacking extends beyond crypto related personalities, with Elon Musk and Bill Gates losing control of their Twitter account. The messages posted by hackers on breached accounts include offers of Bitcoin (BTC) giveaways, fraudulent paid trading groups and other kind of partnership announcements.
