Opera has announced that it has worked with Alteon LaunchPad to enable Web3 or NFT space newcomers to effortlessly manufacture NFTs. Users will be privy to a tool that will allow them to drag and drop audio and video files into the Opera browser, which then generates a smart contract and publishes the content to a blockchain, transforming the files into NFTs (non-fungible tokens).
This, as per Opera CEO Susie Batt, will enable users to learn about Web3 and participate in its environment.
Batt said, “Currently, our users will have the ability to produce NFTs instantaneously and without platform usage charges, enabling more individuals to discover the emerging NFT business.”
The team hopes that using this technology, even people without Web3 expertise will be able to participate in the Web3 ecosystem. This implies that content creators of all backgrounds will really be able to develop NFTs in a simpler manner.
The NFT creation tool is offered by the company Alteon, which focuses on streamlining procedures. The purpose of this connection, according to Matt Cimaglia, co-founder of Alteon, is to equalize the playing field for content companies from diverse backgrounds. “Our relationship with Opera transcends the technological divide between conventional creatives and the Web3 creator ecosystem, allowing everyone to take advantage of the benefits that blockchain technology provide,” he continued.
Opera unveiled the beta variant of its Web3 browser for Windows, Mac, and Android on January 19, enabling users to connect to decentralized apps (DApps), games, and metaverse networks. The application was compatible with the iPhone and iPad as of April 15.
Opera’s specialized Web3 browser, the Opera Crypto Browser, has entered the domain of nonfungible tokens (NFTs) with its most recent launchpad inclusion.
