Crossmint, a prominent web3 infrastructure firm, is set to unveil a groundbreaking wallet-as-a-service (WaaS) solution tailored specifically for non-fungible tokens (NFTs). This innovative offering aims to empower businesses by facilitating the seamless integration of simplified and interoperable blockchain technologies into their current range of products and services.
The NFT WaaS technology stack empowers enterprises to generate smart contracts and facilitate the transmission of NFTs via email. Additionally, it facilitates the creation of wallets tailored to NFT collectors. The white-label product also offers users the capability to establish connections between their wallets and third-party platforms through decentralized application (dapp) services like Wallet Connect or Crossmint Connect.
Furthermore, Crossmint’s WaaS platform provides users with the capability to acquire non-fungible tokens (NFTs) using traditional fiat currency. The service, previously exclusive to a limited number of companies such as airBaltic, Red Bull, ASUS, and Diageo, has now been expanded to cater to the general public.
According to insights shared by Rodri Fernandez Touza, the esteemed CEO and co-founder of Crossmint, it is evident that the user experience within the web3 realm continues to be regarded as “cumbersome and unreliable.” The WaaS provided by Crossmint endeavors to tackle this concern. Touza states that this product provides users with the full capabilities of web3 while simplifying the process by completely abstracting blockchain technology. It is expected that this product will enhance the process of onboarding and retaining users by offering seamless interoperable experiences that are accessible to all individuals.
Crossmint has established partnerships with a diverse range of brands and stakeholders within the web3 ecosystem to effectively support the development of NFT infrastructure. In June, the renowned rapper Snoop Dogg introduced an innovative non-fungible token (NFT) collection that undergoes continuous evolution in alignment with his ongoing tour. To facilitate the acceptance of traditional currency payments and offer secure custodial services, Snoop Dogg has partnered with Crossmint, a reputable NFT payment processor.
