Visa expects to bring the Visa Master of Movement NFT series to reality on an engaging field during the heavily hyped FIFA Fan celebration from November 19 to December 18 in Doha, Qatar.
During this time, Visa will let cryptocurrency and football enthusiasts to make digital artworks influenced by their distinctive gestures and convergenerate them on crypto.com, the authorized cryptocurrency trading portal and patron of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
Andrea Fairchild, senior vice president and chief of sponsorships at Visa, stated regarding the NFT venture, “We want to start celebrating football, art, and innovation through the eyepiece of what tends to make the FIFA World Cup so unique – wildly passionate fans, iconic athletes, and the capability to bring the universe together in a distinctively linked manner for a couple of weeks.”
Visa has been the authorized payment processing partner of FIFA since 2007. In this context, the fintech company plans to leverage its NFTs to deliver services that bring consumers near the action, regardless of whether they are one of the 1 million fans expecting to take part in the event in Qatar or the 5 billion spectators slated to watch it online.
