UAVI is commemorating its one year in business and its partnership with Real Drone Simulator by hosting the world’s first online drone competition that is based on blockchain technology. At the live launch event, which will take place on June 23 at 7 p.m. Central European Time in Budapest, Hungary, the listing of the UAVI token on the Indoex exchange will be announced, and the UAVI ecosystem will be shown to the general public for the first time.
The rise of unmanned aircraft vehicles, sometimes known as drones, marks the beginning of the fourth wave of innovation in the aviation industry. Not only may we anticipate the dominance of drones in the areas of personal transportation, mapping, imaging, agricultural monitoring, tracking, and search and rescue operations, but also in the areas of engineering and shipping and distribution. Traditional carriers, which rely on more expensive and destructive fossil fuels, have more moving parts that need to be replaced, are slower, and provide a solution that is less beneficial to the environment than drones.
The fourth industrial revolution, often known as Industry 4.0, is completely altering the ways in which businesses produce, develop, and distribute their goods. During this transition, also known as the 4th Industrial Revolution, manufacturers are integrating new technologies, such as the Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing and analytics, drones, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning into their production facilities and throughout their operations. The creation of intelligent factories will be the focal focus of this transition, and drones will be an integral component of such factories. Drones will provide manufacturers opportunities for inspection, maintenance, and even expedited delivery of their products.
UAVI is the first drone ecosystem in the world, and its primary mission is to bring about this shift. The business is providing a service-oriented marketplace as well as a platform environment in which demand may meet supply in the form of drone operators, solutions, and innovations. Through the use of the UAVI token and the issuance of UAVI NFTs, the UAVI Platform is able to provide DeFi-based solutions inside the realm of drones. The 21st of June will mark the beginning of the listing process for the UAVI token on Indoex. Their pre-sale and first three initial coin offerings (ICOs) were successful, although they did not sell all of their tokens.
It will be two days after the Indoex listing before the tournament launch and listing launching event takes place in Budapest, Hungary on June 23. This event will also mark the debut of the world’s first blockchain-based online drone competition. RDS (Real Drone Simulator), a simulator that has been in development for the past seven years, will serve as the platform on which the competition will be held. This simulator offers photorealistic environments even on laptops that are not designed for gaming, making the competition accessible to players of all skill levels.
The tournament, as well as joint marketing activities and the generation of additional innovative joint projects, are all a part of the collaboration between RDS and UAVI, which is a component of the latter’s Incubator program. RDS was selected as one of the “Top 10 drone simulators for 2022” by droneguru.net. When it comes to bringing together various parties involved in the drone industry, the Incubator program looks for the most forward-thinking and cutting-edge solutions possible. Other ideas being developed by the Incubator include an electric VTOL aircraft for use by emergency medical services, a drone geocaching initiative, and specialized software for drone delivery services.
