Tokocrypto has joined hands with BRI Ventures, Indonesia’s top government-run bank’s venture capital unit, for a project named Tokocrypto Sembrani Blockchain Accelerator (TSBA) aided by TokoLabs. The accelerator program, according to the company, has aided budding blockchain initiatives and startups to step up by offering community networks and technical assistance, while assisting them to get connected to financing opportunities.
TSBA, in addition to incubating ventures, has assisted them to navigate other domains such as marketing and establishing a brand, investment tactics, investment domain strategy, and connection to fundraising opportunities. The central chain of TSBX, which links the aforesaid domains of the accelerator program, is the training and networking assistance of instructors from the local blockchain environment, for example, Nicko Widjaja (CEO of BRI Ventures) and Pang Xue Kai (CEO of Tokocrypto).
Other prominent trainers are Teguh Kurniawan Harmanda (COO of Tokocrypto), Nanda Ivens (chief marketing officer of Tokocrypto), and Lai Chung Ying (chief strategy officer of Tokocrypto). This is in addition to trainers from the worldwide blockchain domain. The program also paved way for the support of more than 50 investors, namely Tokocrypto, Binance Labs, Cydonia, Solana Labs, Signum Capital, YGGSEA, Alameda Research, Huobi Ventures, Crypto.com, QCP, Avocado DAO, and Intudo Ventures, among others.
Javier Tan, CEO of Creo Engine has pointed out that “The TSBA program has been of immense assistance to our endeavor. Since the beginning of this initiative, we have known and collaborated with a large number of excellent associates both inside and outside the organization. Long term, it is our sincere desire that the TSBA project will continue to promote local blockchain initiatives and provide assistance for new business ventures.”
Partakers and startups were given the requisite resources for fundraising, blockchain building, teamwork, advice for listing, and tokenomics to build skills necessary to create a lasting impression within the blockchain sector.
Partakers in the program include VC Gamers, Avarik Saga, nanobyte, Eizper Chain, Creo Engine, Duckie Land, Play it Forward DAO, Play Fix, Mythic Protocol, Avarta, getKupon, and Survein.
Pang Xue Kai, CEO of Tokocrypto, said “The firms that were chosen to participate are a representation of the blossoming blockchain environment in Indonesia, and this is only the start. When I first heard the phrase “blockchain,” I thought it was a foreign language. These days, however, blockchain is a digital force that manifests itself as NFTs, decentralized banking, and perhaps even GameFi. Us at Tokocrypto are pleased to be a part of the sector’s ongoing disruption.”
From the start of the program, Tokocrypto stated that it has linked the partakers with worldwide trainers including Tamar Menteshashvili from Solana Labs and Nicole Zhang for Binance Labs.
Nicko Widjaja, CEO of BRI Ventures, said, “To us, blockchain represents an essential component of the world wide web of tomorrow, which will function as the engine that propels the digital economy forward. We have high hopes that in the not-too-distant future, additional business cases will be created in a variety of industries making use of blockchain technology.”
