Financial news outlet Finextra has reported that tokenization software firm AlphaPoint has shuffled its management team. According to the media report, Joe Ventura, the CTO (current chief technology officer), will take the post of chief information officer.
Similarly, Kapil Rathi, global head of trading, will become the new COO (chief operating officer). Both executives will report to Igor Telyatnikov, the new CEO who previously held the post of President.
Telyatnikov had previously held several top level posts as a founding member of AlphaPoint, including the post of chief operating officer. Telyatnikov was earlier responsible for taking care of revenue growth, business strategy and client success of the company.
Before joining AlphaPoint, Telyatnikov held the post of managing director at fintech, Cvetlo, a firm involved in online media investment, and adtech. He was incharge of business improvement at LiftDNA, a digital ad platform. Salil Donde, ex-CEO of the firm, will act as strategic advisor, a role which he held before taking up other posts.
Back in March, AlphaPoint updated its security token tool, mainly developed for institutional customers. It can be remembered that Standard Tokenization Protocol, a startup which provides solutions for compliant tokenization, announced that it received $7 million in financing in two distinct private financing rounds from several venture capitalists by offering its STPT token.
Back in May, top Switzerland based telecom company Swisscom revealed its intention to start offering tokenized artwork via its Swisscom TV television network.
