The advertising material for this agreement has already been shot at Manchester United’s Carrington training facility, according to news outlet The Athletic.
The Tezos blockchain is marketed as an energy-efficient platform that includes its own money, Tez. This stated agreement with Manchester United is intended to boost the blockchain network’s legitimacy and awareness. However, this is not the initial time Tezos has been chosen to support a globally recognized brand.

McLaren Racing, a British motorsports team, has also selected Tezos as its authorized technical associate for its Formula 1, INDYCAR, and esports teams. The Tezos network was utilized to debut McLaren’s NFT series in October 2021. Non-fungible tokens (NFTs), are valuable digital collectibles whose ownership is recorded on the blockchain. Indeed, Tezos has formed technical and NFT-supporting collaborations with Red Bull Racing Honda F1 and French esports organization Team Vitality.
