In a significant development, the Telos Foundation has unveiled a strategic partnership with Paris-based Web3 incubator Atka. The collaboration aims to facilitate Telos’ expansion in France and across Europe, providing avenues for additional funding and networking opportunities for projects within the Telos ecosystem.
Telos Technological Advancements and Project Developments
Telos boasts a robust tech infrastructure, featuring Telos Zero and Telos EVM. The development of the new zkEVM gaming sidechain, K2-18, is currently underway, with a slated release later this year. Additionally, Telos recently introduced SNARKtor, a scalable and robust protocol for decentralized recursive proof aggregation, allowing the consolidation of numerous proofs across different transactions into a single unique proof.
Atka, established in 2018, has successfully hosted multiple cohorts, including groundbreaking projects like Mangrove, PlayMakers, and Morpho. The latter has achieved significant success, surpassing $2 billion USD in Total Value Locked (TVL) with its Lending Optimizer. Notably, Morpho recently launched Morpho Blue, a lending primitive offering unparalleled efficiency and flexibility.
Telos Foundation’s Growth Trajectory and Strategic Vision
The Telos Foundation aims to build upon its recent growth cycle, marked by key appointments such as CEO Lee Erswell, Head of Gaming Justin Edwards, Executive Director John Lilic, and Latin America Ambassador Ana Ojeda. The partnership with Atka is viewed as a strategic move to leverage Telos’ technical strength, talented team, supportive community, and existing momentum.
Pierre Laurent, one of Atka’s co-founders, expressed enthusiasm about introducing Telos into their network, citing the protocol’s robust technical infrastructure and strong community support. The alliance between Telos and Atka holds promise for significant achievements in the near future.
Telos Ecosystem’s Momentum and Developer Onboarding
In addition to recent pivotal hires, Telos has rapidly onboarded developer partners, expanding its ecosystem to around 100 decentralized applications (dApps) and surpassing $100 million USD in TVL. The Telos Foundation sees this as an opportune moment for the strategic partnership with Atka, given the recent catalysts within the Telos project and the broader Web3 landscape.
Executive Director John Lilic emphasized the timing as optimal for elevating Telos to the next level and solidifying its position as one of the most robust networks globally. The partnership with Atka is envisioned as a catalyst for enhancing Telos’ ecosystem and increasing awareness across retail and investment communities in Europe.
Future Initiatives and Collaborative Efforts
Telos and Atka have already initiated planning for various initiatives and workstreams. The focus is on building awareness for Telos in Atka’s home market of France while fostering connections between investors seeking high-growth opportunities and relevant projects within the Telos ecosystem. This collaborative effort aims to propel Telos into a prominent position in the European market.
