Senex Unveils Web3 Incubator Hub In Nigeria

Senex Group, a multinational corporation with operations in various industries, inaugurated Nigeria’s inaugural Web3 incubator hub. The hub is intended to foster and expedite the advancement and expansion of Web3 technologies in Nigeria and other regions. Distinguished technology investors, notable entrepreneurs, influential individuals, and public sector stakeholders were present at the launch ceremony.

The CEO, Okeoghene Orhosere, representing the company, stated that the Web3 sector, which is presently worth US$ 8 billion, is projected to increase to a value of US$ 94.0 billion by 2030. Senex had to take charge of advancing Web3 technology in Africa, beginning with Nigeria. This led to the establishment of the Senex Hub in the centre of Lagos.

According to Osetohame Matthew Agbonyeme, the COO of Senex Group, the company’s objective is to alleviate poverty by helping one million Nigerians. He also mentioned that Senex Group has made significant progress over the years. According to him, Senex Group is a conglomerate that operates in various industries including Finance, Blockchain, Payments, Real Estate, Security, and Venture Capital on a global scale. In 2016, our goal was to eradicate the exclusion of Africans from the worldwide economy by eliminating the obstacles that prevent the typical African from creating wealth. Our organization has developed and expanded to become well-known globally. We offer a variety of content, products, and services that are suitable for both individuals and businesses in various fields.

According to Damilare Fakorede, who is the Vice President of Growth at Senex, the Hub holds significance for Nigeria’s Tech Ecosystem, particularly the Web3 sub-sector. According to him, SenexHub is a company that specializes in business development services, with a focus on emerging technologies. Our organization is the initial web3 incubator hub in Africa, which offers assistance and resources to developers and startups who are engaged in web3 technologies in Africa. The main objective of the hub is to assist in the development of the Web3 industry in Africa by granting access to essential resources such as mentorship, funding, networking, and other resources that are crucial for the successful launch and expansion of Web3 projects.

Rikome Erezi, the CTO of the group, mentioned that Senex Hub will grant startups access to various funding opportunities such as venture capital, grants, and other investment options. Rikome mentioned that they will grant access to a group of investors, advisors, and specialists in the Web3 industry who can provide assistance and advice to aid entrepreneurs in expanding their businesses.
Earlier this year, Senex Group’s subsidiary Senexpay introduced the first Digital Currency Wallet developed by an African company, which is noteworthy. The conglomerate has investments in Hospitality, Real Estate, Security, and Global Payments.
