Samsung Next revealed its stake in Genopets, the initial move-to-earn blockchain game in the world. Genopets is currently in progress, with a waiting list of 250,000 enrolled users.
Every Genopet will be available as an NFT. Genopets is largely influenced by Tamagotchi and Pokémon, and its primary feature, move-to-earn, requires players to engage in physical activity.
After reaching the daily step target, steps are converted into energy that may be utilized to grow, train, and personalize your Genopets. Also there is a combat mode in which players may pit their Genopets against one another for prizes.
The gaming firm said, “Genopets is the gaming equivalent of a healthy living. Are you strolling the mall? Running at the gym? Are you between meetings in the office? Regardless of how you remain athletic, your Genopet is constantly at your side, tracking the strides you take to power your games.”
The game has a dual-token structure comprising of KI and GENE Token, each having its unique purpose and usefulness inside the game. GENE Token is an administration and staking token utilized for Genesis NFT sales, seasonal drops, and building expensive things in-game. KI Token is a game-related utilitarian token. Habitat owners may harvest KI by transforming their daily Energy into KI. KI is consumed when utilized and daily earnings are limited.
