The company updated its iOS and Android app earlier this week. The app, launched in June, enables users to purchase, sell and store cryptocurrencies. Saum Noursalehi, CEO of tZero, elaborated the reason behind providing support for Ravencoin.
“In addition to being one of the fastest growing cryptocurrencies, Ravencoin is philosophically aligned with tZERO in making it easy to digitize assets and make them freely tradable. […] Ravencoin allows for straightforward issuance and on-chain transfer of any digital asset, including security tokens, making support for RVN a natural fit for tZERO Crypto.”
Opensource cryptocurrency Ravencoin intends to facilitate real-time payments, development and support of security tokens, crypto collectibles, utility tokens, gift card and other custom built assets. tZero is a subsidiary of retailer Overstock which is concentrating on the creation of blockchain applications.
Back in March, Ravencoin came to limelight when Patrick Byrne, CEO of Overstock.com mentioned that his firm had poured in millions of dollars into the “use case specific Blockchain focusing on the transfer of assets.”
