Unisot CEO and Co-founder Stephan Nilsson said in a press release, “This will offer us the tools we require to excel and scale up internationally, and also access to the fundamental blockchain technologies that will allow us to continue creating unmatched enterprise software with the excellent features of the BSV blockchain — scalability, trustworthiness, accessibility and performance, and most notably for its reliability.”
Increasing supply chain efficiency with blockchain and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies is one illustration of the digitization occurring in a broad spectrum of industries, including production, retail, financial services, health – care, and administration, as well as among small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and big enterprises. The news of the collaboration between nChain and Unisot comes approximately two weeks after the data platform Craft secured $33 million to help businesses monitor their supply networks.
The data portal provided by Craft enables supply chain, sourcing, and risk administrators to watch vendors.
“Greater emphasis on cybercrime, Sustainability, legal compliance, and geopolitics have emphasized the need for thorough and trustworthy information on all levels of the business supply chain network,” Craft stated in a press statement dated February 1. “Enterprises in both the private and government spheres are increasingly integrating constant tracking of vendors into their everyday operations, further to predicting and mitigating problems preemptively instead of reactively.”
As stated in the media release, Unisot’s Web3 solution opens doors for all supply chain participants to partake in the sharing of information utilizes nano-trades to monetize data and incentivize its interaction on the blockchain, and offers the final client with data about the product’s beginnings and provenance, ecological consequences, quality, and security.
According to a press statement, the tool is also intended to assist businesses to comply with the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence (CSDD) rules suggested by the European Commission (EC).
“With Unisot, we are especially pleased to be able to offer the technology for a system that permits complete supply chain openness and worldwide compatibility from origination to a disposal point,” nChain CEO Christen Ager-Hanssen stated in a press statement.
