Million Doge Disco Event Starts, Partakers to Receive a Share of 1mln DOGE

Do you want to take part in one of the most entertaining cryptocurrency-themed activities around? Do you want to have a virtual pet with which you can have fun? Maybe you’d like to collect some DOGE while you’re at it?

Then the Million Doge Disco is just what you’re looking for. The event is among the most unique in the crypto world. It’s described as “a Pokemon GO-style virtual reality smartphone game that allows players to win exclusive, engaging non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and Dogecoin,” according to the promoters.

The Million Doge Disco, on the other hand, is far more than a mobile game. The metaverse is a Doge-fueled celebration. One of the creators, Gary Lachanche, defines it as “a new Party tier that will stand above reality, enabling anybody, anywhere to instantaneously walk into a parallel realm that is filled with song, lighting, and happy vibes – effectively converting the entire globe into a dance floor.”

Lachanche is the creator of Decentralized Dance Party, a Canadian cryptocurrency investor. He made his first investment of just about $300 in Dogecoin in 2014. His investment is now worth around $250,000, thanks to DOGE’s spectacular increase – 10,000% in 2020 alone. Lachanche will be giving away 1 million Doge from his fortune.

“We’ll also introduce a ‘Proof of Partying’ system that encourages everybody, everywhere to party with their Doges in order to collect Dogecoin rewards from the community,” he said.
We want to revive the gifting mentality that characterized the Dogecoin community in the initial periods of cryptocurrency.”

The Million Doge Disco was developed by Lachanche. He did, nevertheless, team up with BLOCKv, a platform for developing highly configurable and responsive NFTs. He also teamed up with Kyle Kemper, Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s half-brother.

Kemper stated in an interview that he is not interested in making money from the enterprise. Instead, he feels that this gathering may help to promote global peace. The fact that the celebration began on July 3rd and ends on September 21st, which is International Peace Day, exemplifies this.

Kemper is a huge admirer of Dogecoin, the now-famous memecoin. He told Decrypt, “I truly believe in the power of this community and the reality that it’s based on joy and memetic behavior.”

“It isn’t as tribal as some other cryptocurrencies, and it hasn’t been much about making profit. Giving gifts and doing pleasant things acts is the core.”
