LG Electronics Unveils NFT Marketplace in the US

LG Electronics Inc. has introduced an NFT(non-fungible token)-based artwork marketplace in the United States. The firm stated Monday that it has debuted the LG Art Lab service in the United States, allowing customers to purchase, sell, and admire high-quality NFT masterpieces chosen by experienced collectors.

The service will frequently include a range of new NFT paintings that have been approved by experts. It may be accessed via PCs and smartphones, as well as LG Smart TVs operating on LG’s latest webOS 5.0 platform or above, introduced in 2020 or later.

After getting registered in LG Art Lab’s marketplace, NFT artworks may be seen on television screens at household or traded. The LG Art Lab is built on the blockchain technology Hedera and features the in-house designed Wallypto cryptocurrency wallet.

For the last two years, LG has been doing research on blockchain technology as a member of the Hedera operational committee.
