Japan’s WPP Partners KDDI to Develop Web3 Digital Content Tools

WPP has collaborated with one of Japan’s foremost telecom companies, KDDI, to build the next version of digital content tools for Japan. The collaboration will aid digital producers in Japan by combining WPP’s scope and digital creative competence with KDDI’s Web3 specialist knowledge and its connections with IP and content producers. It will additionally allow WPP and its partners to engage with KDDI on business and innovative prospects, broadening WPP’s customer services and intellectual property to include KDDI’s recently introduced ‘U (Alpha-U)’ Web3 network.

These comments follow WPP’s latest worldwide partnership deals with BigCommerce and Stripe to broaden WPP’s commerce and payment processing systems, and with Epic Games to develop futuristic immersive experiences utilizing the Unreal Engine.
