Huawei Cloud unveiled Polygon, Deepbrain Chain, Morpheus Labs, and Blockchain Solutions as its Web3 collaborators at its Asia-Pacific alliance summit hosted last week in Bali, Indonesia.
And through alliance, Huawei Cloud intends to implement blockchain into its cloud computing. At the gathering, the organization additionally unveiled its cloud-driven Web3 offerings.
Huawei Cloud has been investigating the possible role of 5G in metaverse advancements since the introduction of its blockchain offerings in 2018. In April 2022, it also debuted its non-fungible tokens (NFT) series and trading platform.
Chinese technology behemoths have been broadening their Web3 operations abroad. Alibaba Cloud, the cloud computing division of Alibaba Group Holding Ltd., unveiled a blockchain node offering in Singapore in December 2022. A week back, Tencent Holdings Ltd. unveiled a cloud-led toolkit for metaverse coders.
In January, Chinese President Xi Jinping emphasized emerging innovations like blockchain, artificial intelligence, 5G, and cloud services as significant variables in the development of the digital economy and global competition.
