To promote the game, Find Satoshi Lab has revealed that approximately 2 million GMT tokens, equivalent to around 60 million yen, will be allocated for an in-game avatar creation contest. Participants are encouraged to design unique avatars, known as “heroes,” and selected entries will receive GMT tokens as a reward. GMT tokens function as Step’n’s governance token and are built on the Solana (SOL) blockchain. Step’n, an exercise dApp, enables users to earn utility tokens called “GST” through walking or running.
Gas Hero will feature decentralized gameplay, including community voting and asset trading between players, with GMT tokens serving as the transaction currency. The game’s narrative centers around the aftermath of a nuclear attack caused by AI (artificial intelligence), with the term “gas” referring to the vital natural gas that powers the cloning lab within the game world.
While details about the gameplay elements remain undisclosed, Find Satoshi Lab plans to release the game’s content in seven parts, unveiling them gradually. Shiti Manghani, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the company, disclosed that Gas Hero will incorporate player-versus-player interactions, multiplayer simultaneous participation, and social features. The development team is focused on enhancing the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) of the game.

Manghani emphasized the importance of finding consumer applications that can be built on top of blockchain infrastructure projects like Solana, with gaming being one of the promising avenues. As part of the gaming initiative, Find Satoshi Lab has launched an in-game avatar creation contest, which will conclude on August 8th. In addition to prize money, the selected creators will receive a 2% royalty from the NFT sales based on their designs.
In addition to Step’n and Gas Hero, Find Satoshi Lab ventured into the NFT market in November of last year with the introduction of “MOOAR,” a membership NFT market supporting multiple chains. MOOAR operates on a membership system, where users can access all products by paying a monthly fee of $29.9 (approximately 4,200 yen), with no additional service fees required.
