Blitz will receive its native Subnet on the Avalanche blockchain, ultimately providing TSM with a blockchain tailored to its requirements. The two businesses revealed that TSM will hold competitions on the Blitz Subnet, as well as establish “Blitz Arenas” that will award rewards to users who compete in them.
Avalanche will transform into TSM’s official blockchain associate in the future, but the partners declined to reveal financial information. FTX, a cryptocurrency exchange that inked a trademark rights agreement with TSM in 2021, was a prior blockchain-related TSM partner. In 2022, nevertheless, due to a multitude of controversies involving the cryptocurrency firm, TSM paused and subsequently terminated its contract with FTX.
Andy Dinh, founder, and chief executive officer of TSM and Blitz, remarked on the partnership as follows: “They are an exceptional leader in this domain, and together we carry a long-term goal of developing genuine and useful offerings for our audience.”
“The collaboration arrives at a crucial moment for Avalanche gaming. Avalanche has risen to prominence among game publishers and gamers as a result of its plethora of successful live games and upcoming releases from top creators.
