Cookie Company Oreo Enters Metaverse by Partnering with Meta and Martha Stewart

Oreo, a well-known cookie manufacturer, has built its native Metaverse, the OREOVERSE, an interactive online world where cookie-themed competitions and activities may be played.
The firm debuted a fresh limited-edition cookie called The Most OREO OREO, through which they launched the OREOVERSE. As per a press release, the launch’s promotional offer included a variety of prizes, including a $50,000 contest, gaming consoles, and virtual reality headsets.

The OREOVERSE is accessible on desktop, mobile, and in Horizon Worlds, where users may explore the Metaverse in virtual reality (VR) while donning a Meta Quest headset. With Meta’s partnership with Oculus virtual reality headsets, Oreo emphasized that the encounter can also be accessible through mobile devices and laptops.

As a component of the campaign, television personality Martha Stewart and her gardener Ryan McCallister will explore the OREOVERSE on the social media platforms of the OREO label in the forthcoming week. Stewart is not novice to Web3; she debuted her own NFT series “Fresh mint” in 2021.
