Chainlink has expanded its role as a key infrastructure provider for Web3 by introducing multiple integrations across several blockchain networks. Over the past week, the platform completed nine integrations spanning seven different networks, including ApeChain, Arbitrum, Base, Celo, Cronos, Cronos zkEVM, and Ethereum. These integrations feature four distinct services designed to enhance the functionality and security of major blockchain projects such as Aave, Apecoin, Celo, Cronos, Lightspeed Coin, and Polytrade Finance.
The newly established integrations are expected to improve the operational security of various blockchain applications. Aave has opted to utilize the Smart Value Recapture oracle, a tool that redirects MEV (Maximal Extractable Value) profits back to its users, thereby fostering a more equitable environment within its ecosystem.
Enhancing Functionality and Efficiency in Blockchain Applications
Apecoin has introduced a mechanism that allows Bored Ape Yacht Club users to verify zero-knowledge proofs through ApeChain. This integration aims to significantly lower gaming and NFT transaction costs by over 90%, making transactions more efficient for users.
Polytrade Finance has incorporated Chainlink’s price feeds to secure manipulation-resistant price data. This feature is integral to the platform’s real-world asset tokenization model, which plays a crucial role in small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) lending operations.
Celo, a blockchain network designed to enhance mobile financial inclusion, has implemented Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP). This addition is expected to improve the security of cross-chain transactions, thereby enhancing the decentralized finance (DeFi) capabilities of the Celo ecosystem.
Supporting Data-Driven DeFi Innovations
Decentralized applications (dApps) rely on accurate financial data, which Chainlink provides through its price feeds. These feeds support Crypto.com’s infrastructure, including the Cronos network and its zkEVM blockchain system. Additionally, the operational functionality of Lightspeed Coin’s DeFi initiatives is likely to benefit from these data feeds, ensuring reliable and secure information delivery.

The participation of multiple blockchain networks in Chainlink’s integrations underscores its ability to function across both layer-one and layer-two networks. Ethereum remains the primary hub for Chainlink, but the platform continues to demonstrate its adaptability by integrating with emerging blockchain solutions like ApeChain and Cronos zkEVM.
Expanding Chainlink’s Capabilities in High-Performance Environments
Platforms such as Coinbase’s Base and Arbitrum are enhancing Chainlink’s functionality within high-performance blockchain environments. These integrations provide developers with seamless access to crucial data, improving efficiency and reliability across various applications.
Real-time secure data delivery remains a cornerstone of Chainlink’s value proposition, ensuring that smart contracts receive reliable information to operate effectively. As Chainlink continues to expand its integrations, its infrastructure solutions are expected to support Web3 adoption across multiple sectors, driving further innovation and growth within the blockchain industry.
