US security and storage company Sollensys Corp. has purchased an Arkansas data center. For businesses concerned about ransomware, Sollensys provides Blockchain Archive Server, a blockchain-based archiving solution. According to the corporation, the new data center is part of a $3.3 million purchase of a number of real estate properties.
The building’s total floor space is 5,044 square feet (468 square meters), and it occupies a plot of land that is about an acre in size. Don Beavers, CEO of Sollensys Corp., made the claim. – “For the first time, we have a purpose-built data center in our expanding network. We will be able to deliver better service to our customers as a result of the increased capacity that is now available to us.”
There is a Kohler back-up generator, elevated flooring for cooling computers and electronics, a high-speed fiber-optic loop, a concrete vault, limited access, and perimeter security monitoring in this building. It paid $2.5 million for Sollensys’ main site in Palm Bay, Florida, in 2013. On a four-acre complex near Palm Bay, there is a 35,000-square-foot (3,250-square-meter) structure.
