Following the addition of EOS to the list of other supported assets, BitGo’s chief technology officer Ben Chan said
“The EOSIO software has some innovative differentiators like its high transaction capacity and fee model that required our engineering team to scale our platform. We were able to successfully create an experience for EOS users that is seamless and consistent with how we support other coins and tokens.”
BitGo further claimed that its security, custody and liquidity services are safeguarded by multisignatures and all of the cryptos which are backed by the firm are integrated through a single API (application programming interface). BitGo currently supports over 200 cryptos and tokens.
Notably, BitGo recently appointed Pete Najarian, ex-senior vice-president of wallet provider Xapo, as its chief revenue officer.
