Astar Network, a Build2Earn multichain network for smart contracts, is happy to announce a partnership with Yoshitaka Amano, a famous Japanese artist known for iconic works. The agreement follows the platform’s ambitions to build and distribute an exclusive NFT collection on its blockchain, according to the statement. It is the first time that Mr. Amano’s fantastical worlds and characters will be brought to life on a blockchain. Thus, the art of the tale may engage with the communities and initiatives of Astar.
Yoshitaka Amano is regarded as a renowned artist in the twenty-first century due to his skill and worldwide appreciated, distinctive Japanese art style. Amano is responsible for renowned artwork such as Speedracer, the cover art for Sandman: The Dream Hunters, and, most importantly, Final Fantasy.
Sota Watanabe, founder and CEO of Astar Network, remarked on the relationship and expressed his joy in collaborating with the iconic artist, stating, “Without a question, Yoshitaka Amano is a legendary artist of the twenty-first century. It is a privilege to collaborate with him and host his first NFT on Astar Network.”
Through its relationship with Amano, Astar network has automated its link with Twin Planet, the talent management agency that represents Yoshitaka Amano and other renowned artists. Consequently, this is the beginning of Astar Network’s relationship with Twin Planet to assist fine arts practitioners in minting their digital assets on a trustworthy and secure network in order to make their art accessible to the public.
The relationship will see Astar Network manage Candy Girl, a gorgeous collection of 108 angels created by Yoshitaka Amano. The release said that the art is youthful and attractive yet being smart and appealing for media applications.
Therefore, Astar will develop a Web3 entertainment site for the Candy Girl collection so that it may establish itself in its ecosystem and extend out into other galleries, entertainment, or design. Through the new cooperation, NFT ownership of great art will have a clear correlation to its worth in the real world. Candy Girl will pave the path for Japanese content producers to retain ownership of their art, music, and tales while engaging a worldwide audience and market.
Yoshitaka Amano also remarked on the relationship, stating, “It’s a benefit for people to see and appreciate my work. It inspires me to sketch even more. This was true when I was a youngster, and it has not altered since then.”
Intriguingly, the existing relationship between Mr. Amano and Twin Planet enables Astar Network as the blockchain for professional artists to develop, sell, and display their priceless artwork.
