Aventus officially confirmed the launch of Aventus Classic, a completely decentralized open-source code intended to build a fairer and more transparent ticketing industry.
Aventus is a blockchain-powered covenant that allows standardization, confidence and development across business supply chains by serving as a safe and autonomous cornerstone of compatibility, interaction and value transfer for cryptocurrencies.
With a record public blockchain speed of 100 tickets a second, Aventus Classic establishes a unique worldwide open standard for ticket exchange without relying on layer-2 alternatives that lacks trust, certainty, and decentralization.
In collaboration with The Satoshi Awards, the launch overlaps with the Aventus Classic DApp Contest.
Entrants will attempt to create a blockchain-based ticketing platform with the winner being offered $15,000 worth of Ether and 2 VIP tickets for the celebration. The victorious platform will be used as the reservation system for the very first Satoshi Awards event, which will happen in mid-2020.
The Satoshi Awards were created to reward the groups and people who delivered in an ethical way to social blockchain initiatives, promoting the values of liberty, defending the freedoms of people and the egalitarian values of The Satoshi Awards.
Open to all blockchain designers and coding groups, and running from September 12, 2019 to November 12, 2019, participants to the contest must build a ticket sales system, a ticket distribution app, and a network management app using the recently published code from Aventus.
Regarding the partnership, Steve Ellis, CEO, and founder of The Satoshi Awards, issued the following statement: “We are thrilled to have partnered with Aventus and engage the open-source community to help build our ticketing system. We are excited to see the entries start rolling in and couldn’t think of a better way to manage our tickets than through blockchain to promote trust, transparency, and innovation.”
Annika Monari & Alan Vey, Founders of Aventus, are excited to have achieved the objective of creating a decentralized ticketing industry.
Annika Monari & Alan Vey issued the joint statement:
“With this release, we are excited to start properly realising our vision for a more equitable and decentralised ticketing industry.”
For Aventus, this is a significant year with the launch of their enterprise-level system, The Aventus Network, an inevitable plasma-like layer-2 alternative developed on Ethereum blockchain.
The Aventus Network will maintain the core values of decentralization while addressing business scale and privacy, and is intended to foster confidence and development across crytocurrency-focused sectors including ticketing, coupons, loyalty scores, financial resources, and digital products.
