Bakkt customers will be able to just utilize their online Bakkt Visa Debit Card (“Bakkt Card”) to buy daily products and services via online, physically, or anywhere Google Pay is supported. For these transfers to take place, digital assets such as Bitcoin will be exchanged to fiat money.
Furthermore, Bakkt has chosen Google Cloud as its favored cloud provider and will advertise its Google Cloud-powered offerings to major retailers and vendors in the United States. Bakkt also intends to develop additional metrics on its platform, as well as artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and location data capabilities, in order to extract comprehensive, local-area market intelligence using Google Cloud’s industry-leading technologies.
These findings will offer Bakkt customers with more loyalty redemption choices, while also giving Bakkt partners with important consumer activity patterns backed by Google Cloud framework. “This collaboration demonstrates Bakkt’s robust position in the crypto currency marketplace, enabling customers to enjoy their cryptos in real-time, safe, and dependable fashion,” stated Gavin Michael, CEO of Bakkt.
“Collaborating with Google Cloud will also enable us to develop a better, innovative platform that can unquestionably grow to satisfy the expectations of millions of users.”
“Google Cloud has been at the vanguard of advancing ecommerce, enabling numerous shops and vendors,” said Kirsten Kliphouse, North America President of Google Cloud. “We are honored to assist Bakkt in accelerating and scaling the access to their unique solutions, which are driven by our technology.”
