Bitcoin.com launched a new facility that permits users to remit any amount of Bitcoin Cash (BCH) via email. Bicoin.com founder Roger Ver that this facility is extraordinary because it avoids the high charges that repel people away from Bitcoin (BTC) related services. Ver also highlighted that the cross-border facility maintains user privacy:
“It doesn’t matter what nationality they are, what country they reside in, or anything else. If they can access email, they can access their Bitcoin Cash. Bitcoin.com never keeps a copy of the private key.”
Furthermore, if the envisaged recipient fails to request funds within a prescribed time span, the payment in the form of BCH will be sent back to the remitter:
“We do keep a signed transaction to refund the BCH back to the sender after the specified number of days have elapsed. That way, if the recipient never claims their Bitcoin Cash, the sender will automatically get it back.”
As governments across the globe are attempting to tighten the noose on crypto transactions, this facility may probably receive a warm welcome from substantial crypto investors.
