Dash Core Group, the organization behind the creation of privacy-centered coin DASH, announced the latest modification carried out to the crypto’s PoS (Proof-of-Stake) network.
Pasta, a core developer of Dash, made the following announcement via Medium:
“Dash Core v0.16.0.1 binaries are released and ready for deployment on mainnet by node operators. This is a major release and is a mandatory upgrade for all miners and masternodes.”
The changes made to the network enhances DASH environment in several ways, including ways for affirming relevant masternode holder software, improvements in front-end of wallets and superior privacy potential while utilizing PrivateSend facility, the venture’s coin-mixing feature, which avoids custodial of coin.
The network overhaul has also resulted in “block reward reallocation to improve the economics of Dash by adjusting the percentage of reward.”
Notably, on September 18, Dash made another change to its network. Based on idea put forth in Dash Evolution forum, the platform facilitated decentralized cloud use for data storage.
Dash Evolution, established five years ago, facilitates easy use of cryptocurrency by participants. The September 30 Dash amendments were an outcome of Dash Evolution principles.
In August, Dash rolled out the foremost digital asset debit card in Latin America.
