Securitize is unveiling its Securitize Ready Program, a regulatory platform and procedure for token issuers supported by US crypto exchange coinbase. The program consists of industry leaders such as Coinbase Custody, Rialto Trading, CBlock Capital, OpenFinance and others.
Customers of the Securitize Ready system will be able to utilize the different facilities provided by the associate firms to disburse the Securitize platform with security tokens.
The platform will supposedly make it simple for institutions to structure and launch their own tokens.
The press release states:
“Securitize’s DS Protocol maintains compliance during secondary trading and enables automated features such as share buy-backs, dividends, voting, and more.”
In late 2018, Securitize completed a $12.75 million Series A funding round under the leadership of Blockchain Capital. Those who participated in the funding process include Coinbase Ventures, NXTP, Global Brain, OK Blockchain Capital and Xpring at Ripple.
Securitize signed up to the IBM Blockchain Accelerator scheme in January 2019. Securitize CEO Carlos Domingo has reported that the objective of the company is to develop a debt issuance platform based on blockchain technology.
