Ledger, the France-based hardware wallet and custody startup, has announced that its hardware wallet Ledger Nano S will support Tron (TRX) cryptocurrency. From now onwards, users will be able to safely store their TRX tokens on the Ledger Nano S hardware wallet.
Only when there is a need to access funds, the device can be connected to the internet, using a computer, and access holdings with a password.
The Ledger Nano S wallet facilitates storing Bitcoin, Ethereum and a few more altcoins in a secure manner. Once a user connects Ledger Nano S to the computer, a secure OLED display is embed to double check and confirm every transaction with a single click of button provided on the side.

“You can configure both Nano S with the same seed, giving you complete peace of mind with double seed verification and access to an immediate backup. The two Nano S are delivered in separate boxes. In bonus, a free OTG kit to connect to your USB-C port or Android device.”
Apart from sending and receiving cryptocurrencies, and checking balances, a user will also be able to manage multiple addresses for each cryptocurrency from the same device.

Regarding the technology used to secure the assets, the official website states
“Nano S also supports the FIDO® Universal Second Factor standard that simplifies the authentication process on compatible online services such as Gmail, Dashlane, Dropbox or GitHub.”
