In a recent announcement, InvoiceMate, the pioneering blockchain invoice platform, revealed its transition from Hyperledger Fabric to the Internet Computer blockchain. This strategic move comes in the wake of a partnership with the DFINITY Foundation, a not-for-profit research and development organization responsible for the Internet Computer blockchain (ICP).
InvoiceMate, renowned for its blockchain and AI-driven invoicing platform, serves as a critical link between small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and financial institutions. The platform focuses on facilitating financial inclusion for SMEs by granting them access to diverse credit options, including invoice discounting, factoring, Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL), and supply chain financing. Notably, InvoiceMate has successfully processed invoices totaling more than $114 million and has established collaborations with nine financial institutions, amounting to over $5 million in locked lending allocations.
Blockchain Platform InvoiceMate Embraces Internet Computer in Strategic Shift
Within this transformative transition to the Internet Computer blockchain, InvoiceMate will take on an advisory and mentoring role for various enterprise blockchain projects. Additionally, the platform will work in close conjunction with the DFINITY Foundation, contributing value to the Internet Computer ecosystem. InvoiceMate, in its role as a partner, will organize workshops for its associates, universities, and other enterprise entities keen on exploring the Internet Computer blockchain.
Furthermore, InvoiceMate’s tech subsidiary, MateSol, will function as a development hub, extending support to projects seeking to incorporate the Internet Computer blockchain into their operations. With a wealth of experience from the enterprise blockchain sector, InvoiceMate is poised to play a substantial role in fostering enterprise adoption of the Internet Computer blockchain.
DFINITY Foundation and InvoiceMate Join Forces to Boost Internet Computer Presence
Muhammad Salman Anjum, Chief Mate at InvoiceMate, expressed enthusiasm about this transition, stating, “We’re excited to migrate to the Internet Computer blockchain. InvoiceMate has built its reputation on trust and efficiency, and that is what we are looking for in a blockchain. The Internet Computer enables us to use the power of invoices to aid SMEs in accessing credit but in a decentralized, tamperproof, and scalable manner.”
The collaboration between the DFINITY Foundation and InvoiceMate serves to strengthen the Internet Computer’s presence in the region. Notably, the ICP.HUB GCC, established in Dubai, is a recent addition to the region, referred to as the “Crypto Oasis.” This region has emerged as the fastest-growing Blockchain Ecosystem globally, housing more than 1,800 organizations and 8,650 individuals actively engaged in its vibrant blockchain landscape.
