Squaretalk, a leader in the contact center software industry, has entered into a partnership with CoinGate to begin taking cryptocurrencies for payment. A number of large companies, including Wikipedia, Microsoft, AT&T, Namecheap, and Express VPN, have made the decision to accept Bitcoin as a valid form of payment, alongside other popular methods such as Stripe, PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
Customers of Squaretalk will be able to make quick payments using Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, XRP, and other major cryptocurrencies as a result of a new cooperation with CoinGate, winner of the Global Brands Award 2021 for Most Innovative Cryptocurrency Payment Gateway in Europe. Squaretalk is a software firm based in Israel and Europe that is largely focused on establishing a worldwide corporate communications platform that will provide phone, text, chat, and messaging applications.
One of the company’s primary goals is to simplify and improve how businesses interact with customers by offering interoperability that improve the user experience while also driving customer loyalty and scaling operations. It also aims to improve operational systems for businesses that employ remote workers. CoinGate is a Lithuanian fintech firm that was established in 2014 with the primary goal of building payment solutions for businesses who want to accept Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as payment options at the point of sale or in the checkout process.
In addition to payment processing, CoinGate offers a variety of other services such as brokerage-type dealing, a large inventory of gift cards that can be purchased with cryptocurrency, and a referral program. Squaretalk continues to evolve and adapt quickly in response to market changes, even if there is still a long path to go before enterprises take Bitcoin directly, rather than via payment processors or Bitcoin debit cards.
When it comes to cryptocurrencies, one of CoinGate’s primary advantages is the vast range of supported coins, which include Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin, and more than 70 other digital assets. Squaretalk will take use of this advantage. Squaretalk will be able to connect into the crypto-sphere, expand its own client base, and accept cross-border payments from people all over the globe with a single click of a button thanks to the plethora of different currencies.
“CoinGate was selected by Squaretalk because it has been a pioneer in the world of cryptocurrencies and has shown versatility in meeting the expectations of clients, in terms of functionality, and in terms of having a large number of supported currencies. CoinGate offers the tools and atmosphere necessary to function and interact with the vast majority of platforms” Elisha Attia, Squaretalk’s Business Development Manager, underlines the importance of this.
“The bottom line is that this alliance is a fantastic financial opportunity for both sides. A mature company, Squaretalk provides cloud-based services and has no trouble understanding that the adoption of cryptocurrency has numerous benefits: crypto-transactions are perceived as fast, efficient, and alleviate the burden of cross-border payments; crypto-transactions are perceived as secure; and crypto-transactions are perceived as low in cost” Dmitrijus Borisenka, the CEO of CoinGate, makes this point.
